They never once cleaned our room in 4 days, despite us requesting daily and them assuring that “tomorrow” they will make sure it happened. At the end, the seemingly nice manager Patrick was very apologetic about our room never getting cleaned, he offered me a refund for 1 night as compensation, I gladly agreed. It has been 6 weeks and I still have not gotten the refund. I call almost daily and everytime I speak to Patrick he tells me that I will get my refund that day, it still has not happened. I am so disappointed in the horrible customer service at this hotel, the constant lies from Patrick and empty promises. I waited to post this review hoping Patrick would issue my refund and make things right but he has not. I really hope the owners of the hotel see this.

This rating was really easy…the front staff (James & Zack) plus manger (Sophia) are not to blame but the condition of the building was used as an excuse for poor room offerings !! It took 5 separate moves on the morning we arrived at Dallas Magnolia Hotel with 3 in the first 1.5 hours and then the last 2 after a walk around Dallas for 2 hours where the rooms were not satisfactory. The guest services manager lived up to her title when we really needed her… 4 of 5 rooms did not have adequate air conditioning which for any hotel is the first and most important comfort for guests … the second is having the correct sized bed … anything after that be it TVs that don’t work ( our bedroom television) or cockroaches in the bathroom are just tolerated. What I cannot tolerate was a young lady (and I use the term very loosely) who upon our checkout was not dressed well , rude and totally indifferent to both my wife and myself who was so disinterested in the process when I asked her to pass on our appreciation for Sophia and the front of house gentleman who worked with us at the start of our stay. We are not difficult people but we could not accept hot-house environments for living in for 3 days. Sophia please be aware that this staff member was not a good ambassador for the hotel with a zero rating…

Terrible experience - not at all like pictured

The hotel is not at all like pictured. This should not be allowed to mislead like this. Lobby is old and dirty. Rooms are musty and dark. Beds uncomfortable. We booked for 4 nights and we couldn’t take it after one night. Even though we canceled very next morning they refused to reimburse anything. Staff is arrogant and doesn’t care. Bad management!

We stayed here around a decade ago and loved it. Let's face it , the location is perfect. Even better than a decade ago. But that's it. Everything else is not quite what it used to be. Except for the rooms which are in need of an update. The amenities that used to make it stand out are gone...the breakfast and cookie hour are gone. Of course they still blame covid...the tried and true excuse . The elevators take forever and hotel staff use the same ones guests do . There is no daily housekeeping and the bathrooms decor are abysmal . The suites have great space and our view was amazing. The potential is there ....it isn't a bad hotel ....but it isnt as great as it used to be

this review is strictly based on the condition of the hotel NOT the employees or the location which were both great. this hotel is actually NOT a hotel but a motel. extremely outdated with stained dark brown carpets, brown walls, the blinds were stained and none of them worked, cracks on bathroom floors, dirty and none of the carpet on the floors was ever vacuumed and the noise from the street car racing kept us up all night. You get what you pay for so do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for somewhere nicer. The owner of this motel cares NOTHING about his motel it's a disgrace!!!!!!
